New Yukata from ARTEMIS

Summer is the time for summer festivals in Japan. First starting with Obon festivals.  Obon is a week long festival and they celebrate the memories of ancestors and people who are passed. Sort of like memorial day in US. Also it is said that the spirits return to this world to visit their relatives. There are lots of different kinds of festivals are going on in different cities and prefectures as well. When attending summer festivals, people usually wear traditional Yukata, a casual summer kimono made with light cotton fabric. ARTEMIS released this lovely yukata in three different colors. You can get these at KDC summer festival from 8/21 to 8/28.
